Gold, Silver Prices Poised for Major Upswing Amid AI Bubble Concerns
Veteran market strategist Gregory T. Weldon believes that gold and silver have entered a major secular bull market, driven by genuine supply deficits and rising industrial demand.
Weldon, publisher of the Global Macro Strategy Report, recently appeared on the Money Metals Podcast to discuss his outlook on precious metals, inflation, Federal Reserve policy, artificial intelligence, and global macroeconomic trends.
He stated that he has shifted back to a bullish stance on gold and silver following the recent correction, citing the long-term bull market in precious metals as firmly intact. Weldon noted that the breakout above $36.50 confirmed a major secular bull market for silver.
The expert expressed concern about artificial intelligence becoming the latest investment bubble, warning that enormous capital spending on AI infrastructure is approaching saturation and leaving technology stocks vulnerable if spending slows.
