Gold, Silver Prices Rise Amid Soft Oil, Falling Bond Yields
Gold and silver prices rose on Wednesday as softer crude oil prices and falling bond yields provided support to precious metals. The recent decline in crude oil prices has eased concerns about energy-led inflation, offering relief to the bullion market.
The positive trend was also visible in India, where gold and silver attracted buying interest at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Spot gold traded near $4,626.79 an ounce, while silver edged higher in global markets.
Investors are keeping a close watch on upcoming US inflation data for clues about the Federal Reserve's interest-rate outlook. The US Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index is one of the key indicators watched by the Fed, and its release could influence expectations around future interest-rate decisions.
