Gold, Silver Prices Surge in India Amid US Fed Decision
The price of gold and silver has increased in India on August 17. Gold rose by 0.33% to Rs 155,370 per 10 grams, while silver surged by 0.52% to Rs 238,500 per kg.
According to the MCX data, gold prices have been trading higher due to the US Fed's decision not to hike interest rates to combat inflation.
The price of one ounce of gold reached $45,353.70 on the US Comex exchange, up $16.40 or 0.37%. Silver also rose to $65.79 per ounce, a 1.05% increase.
