Gold Soars in Nepali Market as Price Hits Record High
The price of gold surged in Nepal's market on Sunday, August 23, marking a significant increase in its value. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported that the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 2,800 per tola, reaching Rs 319,500 per tola.
This represents a notable jump from the previous day's price of Rs 316,700 per tola. In contrast, the price of silver slightly decreased by Rs 10 per tola, settling at Rs 4,975 per tola.
The fluctuation in gold and silver prices is likely due to various market factors, including supply and demand dynamics, global economic trends, and local market conditions.
