Gold Steady in Delhi, Silver Rebounds Ahead of Fed Decision
Gold prices remained steady in Delhi on Wednesday at Rs 1.47 lakh per 10 grams, while silver rebounded by Rs 500 to Rs 2.25 lakh per kg ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy decision.
The All India Sarafa Association reported that gold remained unchanged at Rs 1,47,000 per 10 grams for 99.9% purity.
Silver, however, made a modest recovery after a sharp correction in the previous session, trading at Rs 2,25,300 per kilogram, including taxes.
Experts pointed out that gold prices were range-bound and silver's slight recovery was attributed to a stronger Indian rupee.
The spot price of gold in international markets remained flat at USD 4,031.73 per ounce, while silver edged up nearly 1% to USD 57.54 per ounce.
