Gold Surges as Central Banks Fuel 'Creeping Re-monetization'
Gold's bull market is showing no signs of slowing down, according to Ronald-Peter Stöferle, Managing Partner and Fund Manager at Incrementum.
In an interview with Michelle Makori, Stöferle explained that gold is undergoing a 'creeping re-monetization' driven by central-bank accumulation, geopolitical fragmentation, and growing concerns over the global monetary system.
This has led to Stöferle revising his base case for gold from $4,800 to $8,900, a price he believes will be reached ahead of schedule. He also warned that the global monetary system could undergo a major reorganization in the years ahead.
Stöferle emphasized that Western institutional investors are significantly underallocated to gold and that a shift in institutional capital could become an important driver of the next phase of the bull market.
