Gold Surges by Rs 1,620, Silver Jumps Up to Rs 5,200 Per Kg in India's Bullion Markets

Gold and silver prices surged across India's bullion markets on Thursday, marking significant gains in early trade. Gold rose by Rs 1,620 to Rs 1,770 per 10 grams in most major markets, while spot silver jumped by as much as Rs 5,200 per kilogram.

The sharp increase saw 24-carat gold trading between Rs 145,760 and Rs 145,910 per 10 grams across various bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 133,610 and Rs 133,760 per 10 grams.

Silver also recorded a strong upward move, with spot silver trading at Rs 240,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market. Prices remained firm in major cities such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Jaipur, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar.
