Gold Surges to Five-Month High Amid US-Iran Tensions
Gold prices have surged to a five-month high in Delhi, supported by international trends and safe-haven demand amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran.
The price of gold rose ₹900 to ₹1,64,400 per 10 grams, while silver climbed ₹3,500 to reach a four-month high of ₹2,53,500 per kilogram, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
In international markets, spot gold jumped $42.45 or 1% to $4,646.54 per ounce, and prices moved close to $4,650 as the global rally gathered strength.
