Gold Surges to USD 4,314.30 as Silver Rises by 1.33% in Early Trading Hours
On Friday, August 7, gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in India. The precious metals gained on both global and domestic markets.
In early trading hours, COMEX saw a rise in bullion prices, with gold increasing by 0.34% to USD 4,314.30 per ounce. Silver also rose sharply, climbing 1.33% to USD 62.425 per ounce. This positive movement was influenced by global factors such as changes in demand, the US dollar, and broader market sentiment.
Retail gold rates across India reflected this trend, with both gold and silver trading at elevated levels. Twenty-four carat gold was priced around Rs 1,49,470 per 10 grams, while twenty-two carat gold was available near Rs 1,37,675 per 10 grams. Silver prices also remained strong in the physical market, with one kilogram of silver trading at approximately Rs 2,28,400.
