Gold Teeters on Support Zone at $4,333
Gold futures are trading near $4,353 after a sharp decline from its recent peak of $4,460, $4,480. The short-term structure remains bearish, but the price is now entering an important support zone where the probability of a mean-reversion rally increases.
The Daily VC PMI mean and Weekly VC PMI mean are both above the current price, indicating that the market's recent low of approximately $4,350 may mark a turning point. The narrow $4,333, $4,340 zone represents a major algorithmic demand area, with Buy 1 at $4,340 and Buy 2 at $4,333.
According to VC PMI methodology, reaching Buy 1 historically identifies a high-probability reversion toward the mean, while Buy 2 represents a more extreme level of price displacement. A close back above $4,340 and sustained momentum toward $4,426 would neutralize the immediate bearish pressure.
The upside recovery objectives are $4,426, Daily Sell 1 at $4,481, and Daily Sell 2 at $4,567. Fundamentally, gold remains influenced by interest-rate expectations, Treasury yields, the U.S. dollar, inflation trends, central-bank demand, geopolitical uncertainty, and institutional profit-taking.
