Golden Pass LNG Demand Signals Diverge Amid Commissioning Delays

Golden Pass LNG in Southeast Texas has been reducing its first-cycle nominations by an average of 36% since July 30, as commissioning work at the terminal continues.

This has caused early demand signals to run ahead of the feedgas actually taken, clouding the natural gas market's signals about demand.

Timely nominations for Golden Pass LNG soared before sharply fading, with intraday cuts reaching a high of 43% of the fleet share at one point.
