Goldplat plc Surges on Q4 Operating Results with £3.2m Combined Profit

Goldplat plc (AIM: GDP), a Mining Services Group operating in South Africa and Ghana, released its Q4 operating results update for the period ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a strong combined operating profit of £3,224,000 for the quarter, up from £1,670,000 in Q4 2025.

The South African operation achieved profits before tax of £2,609,000, while the Ghanaian operation generated £830,000. The high gold price had a positive impact on operational margins, but also led to a contraction of 16% in Q4 compared to previous quarters.

Goldplat Recovery Ghana (GRG) invested £351,000 during Q4, bringing the total capital spend for the year to £720,000. The company continues to review and update its process and procedures to manage the local Ghana beneficiation requirement and maximize margins.
