Grain and Livestock Futures Markets Experience Mixed Trading
The US grain and livestock futures markets are experiencing mixed trading on Tuesday morning. According to DTN, December corn prices have dropped by 5 cents per bushel, while November soybeans have declined by 3.25 cents.
December Kansas City wheat is down 11.25 cents, December Chicago wheat has fallen by 7.25 cents, and December MIAX wheat is down 1.75 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is also down, with a loss of 310.41 points.
In the livestock sector, October live cattle have risen by $0.50 to $222.75 per pound, but October feeder cattle have decreased by $0.48 to $337.375 per pound. Meanwhile, October lean hogs are up $0.03 at $79.625 per hundredweight.
