Grain Bids Mixed as Corn and Soybeans Rally, Gulf Export Values Decline
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its latest state grain bid reports on August 4, 2026. The data shows mixed price movements across the Midwest and export gateways, with corn and soybean bids mostly steady to higher in interior markets while Gulf export values declined.
CBOT corn futures settlements for August 3, 2026, showed a price of 449.25 cents per bushel for September 2026 delivery, increasing to 472.50 cents for December 2026 and 501.00 cents for July 2027. CBOT soybeans settled at 1168.75 cents for August 2026, 1173.75 cents for September 2026, and 1207.00 cents for January 2027.
In Kansas, ordinary protein wheat bids remained unchanged at minus 75.00 to minus 60.00 cents per bushel basis, with prices ranging from 6.4225 to 6.5725 dollars per bushel. The year-ago average was 4.8700 dollars per bushel.
The Gulf export elevator bids for US #2 yellow corn declined, ranging from 106.00 to 107.00 cents basis, with prices from 5.4725 to 5.4825 dollars per bushel. The year-ago average was 4.6250 dollars per bushel.
