Grain Prices Remain Stable Amid Regional Turmoil
Grain prices remained relatively stable last week despite fluctuations in various markets. The highest price for French wheat in December reached €232/t on Friday, August 12, and was maintained at that level on Wednesday afternoon.
UK and US wheat followed a similar trend, although US wheat saw an increase of over 21c/bu to hit 669.50c/bu on Wednesday afternoon.
The ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Russia continue to impact markets as grain is not moving easily out of these regions.
