Grain Prices Shift as August 18 Numbers Roll In
The opening grain prices for Tuesday, August 18, were released by Bunge's Moose Jaw Terminal. The Amber Durum price was $272.48, while Feed Barley was priced at $203.59. Canola saw a significant drop of 9.40%, with an opening price of $766.05.
Kabuli Chickpeas and Flax also had notable prices of $573.20 and $610.54, respectively. Red Lentils were priced at $516.50, followed by Oats at $155.00. Large Yellow Peas and Feed Wheat trailed behind with prices of $290.95 and $233.71.
However, the 1 Red Spring Wheat saw a slight increase of 39 cents, reaching an opening price of $281.49. These prices will likely have an impact on various industries, particularly those involved in agriculture and food production.
