Grains Firms Up on Friendly Outside Markets
Corn prices surged overnight, pushing past the key $5.00 mark as grains firmed up in response to friendly outside markets.
The US dollar fell roughly 5 points to 98.80, its lowest level in nearly three months, while West Texas crude futures rose by $2.50 to $88.40.
Wheat also saw gains, with winter wheat up 6-10 cents and Hard Red Spring (HRS) wheat up 8-12 cents.
