Grande Prairie Hauling Companies Sank Under $1.7 Million Debt
Three hauling companies based in Grande Prairie, Alberta have been placed into receivership after failing to pay back a significant loan. On August 20, 2026, Royal Bank Canada (RBC) applied for receivership of Alberta West Transport Ltd., Bison Oilfield Services Ltd., and Ridgeline Forest Contracting Ltd. The banks are owed approximately $1.72 million.
The companies were involved in heavy hauling services for the oil & gas, forestry, and manufacturing industries. Their services included lowbedding, winch truck services, salvage logging, log hauling, and gravel transport.
