Grok AI Predicts Gold Price to Explode to $4,900-$5,200 by End of 2026
Elon Musk's Grok AI has released a gold price prediction that suggests the metal will reach $4,900 to $5,200 by the end of 2026. The forecast is based on 21 consecutive months of central bank buying, with China's PBoC adding 20 tonnes in July and global central banks purchasing a record 289 tonnes in Q2.
The Grok AI model frames this as official demand absorbing supply even while prices rise. Institutional money has also returned to the market, with global gold ETFs seeing $3 billion of inflows in July, led by Europe.
Another factor supporting gold is the soft US data, which has already cut September hike odds sharply. This reduces the opportunity cost of holding a non-yielding asset like gold.
