Grupo Mexico Posts 90.9% Net Income Surge Despite Lower Copper Output
Grupo Mexico reported a significant increase in its net income for Q2, rising by 90.9% to $2.09 billion compared to the same period last year.
The company's mining division EBITDA reached $5.92 billion during the first half of the year, a 61.3% year-on-year increase.
Grupo Mexico attributed its positive financial results to higher prices, despite lower copper, molybdenum, and silver production.
