GTT Reports Record Orders and Stable EBITDA in First Half of 2026
GTT, a company specializing in membrane containment systems for liquefied gas transport and storage, released its financial results for the first half of 2026. The company reported a record number of orders, with 65 recorded during the period. This was described as confirming strong commercial performance by the CEO, who noted that geopolitical disruptions have not affected demand for new LNG carriers.
The company secured additional investment decisions for new liquefaction units totaling 37 million tonnes per annum, reinforcing the positive trend. GTT also received initial orders for three-tank LNG carriers, as well as orders for the largest onshore LNG and ethane storage tanks ever built using its GST technology. An order for the first U.S. floating LNG unit with the world's largest production capacity was also secured.
These achievements were attributed to research and development efforts and an innovation approach recently recognized by the French patent office. GTT Marine's business activity was described as reflecting the relevance of an integrated offering to support vessel performance. The company is accelerating the development of digital solutions for its GTT Energy business to strengthen its position across the LNG value chain.
Financially, first-half 2026 revenues reached 387.3 million euros, while EBITDA stood at 263.6 million euros, stable compared to the first half of 2025. The order book reached 1.9 billion euros, providing strong visibility for the coming years.
