Gujarat Ambuja Exports Plans ₹333 Crore Greenfield Corn Wet Milling Plant
Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd, a leading agro-processing company in India, has announced plans to set up an 850-tonnes-per-day (TPD) greenfield corn wet milling plant at Hubli, Karnataka.
The proposed facility, which is expected to be commissioned by Q4 FY29, will have the capacity to manufacture 400 tonnes per day of corn starch, 150 tonnes per day of sweeteners, and 300 tonnes per day of feed ingredients.
The expansion will increase Gujarat Ambuja Exports' overall manufacturing capacity at the Hubli unit to 1,600 TPD, comprising 700 TPD of corn starch, 400 TPD of sweeteners and derivatives, and 500 TPD of feed ingredients.
This is part of the company's plan to increase its overall corn wet milling capacity to 9,000 tonnes per day by 2030.
