Gujarat Ambuja Exports Proposes Massive Expansion in Karnataka
Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd is planning to set up an 850 TPD Greenfield Corn Wet Milling Plant in Hubli, Karnataka. The facility will be built adjacent to the company's existing 750 TPD Corn Wet Milling Plant and will have a capacity to produce 400 TPD of corn starch, 150 TPD of sweeteners, and 300 TPD of feed ingredients.
The proposed expansion is expected to significantly enhance the company's integrated manufacturing capabilities and product portfolio. Post-completion, the total manufacturing capacity at the Hubli unit will increase to 1600 TPD with a balance of corn starch, sweeteners, and derivatives, as well as feed ingredients.
The project aims to strengthen the company's national and global presence and reinforce its position as India's largest maize processing company. Gujarat Ambuja Exports plans to increase its overall Corn Wet Milling Capacity to 9000 TPD by 2030.
