Gulf Oil Exports Hold Steady at 10.7 Million Barrels Per Day Amid Escalating Maritime Attacks
Oil exports from Gulf states remained relatively stable in July, averaging 10.7 million barrels per day, but this comes despite escalating attacks on key maritime chokepoints.
The combined exports of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, and Iran stayed roughly 40% below levels seen before the outbreak of war.
However, Iraqi exports jumped significantly in July, supported by nine additional loadings of Very Large Crude Carriers, while Kuwait raised its crude output to 1.971 million barrels per day.
On the other hand, shipments from Saudi Arabia and the UAE declined during the same period, capping the overall increase.
