Hanoi Gold Buyers Cautious Amid High Price Differences
Gold prices in Hanoi have been high, but customers are no longer queuing up to buy. At some gold shops, there was a noticeable decline in customer numbers on September 13, with people being more cautious about buying and selling differences.
Mrs. Hoang Thuy Hanh, who came to a store on Nguyen Van Cu street, said that buying gold is currently convenient, with no need to wait long or queue like during times of high demand. She bought 2 taels of gold rings at a price of 14.69 million VND/tael.
However, some customers are still considering buying, but are hesitant due to the high difference between buying and selling prices. Mr. Ta Manh Luan said that he is thinking about buying 1 tael, but is calculating the costs as the difference between buying and selling prices is around 4 million VND/tael.
According to gold price updates, Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group listed the price of gold rings at 143-146.4 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a difference of 3.4 million VND/tael. DOJI Group listed the price at 143-147 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a difference of 4 million VND/tael.
