Hanoi Gold Market Sees Significant Decline in Crowds and Quick Transactions
The gold market in Hanoi has cooled down significantly, as evident from the low crowd and quick transaction times at gold trading stores on Tran Nhan Tong street. Unlike previous periods of high demand, customers can now complete their transactions within a few minutes, without having to queue for hours.
Ms. Bui Hoai Thu, who came to buy 2 taels of gold rings, shared that she decided to accumulate gold after monitoring price movements for several days. She chose to visit the store on a weekend as it was more convenient for her. The current high prices did not deter her from buying, but she prefers to purchase in small amounts over time.
Other customers also reported similar experiences, with Mr. Pham Minh Tan and Ms. Do Thi Nhan stating that they were able to complete their transactions quickly and efficiently without having to wait for long periods of time. The staff at the stores were helpful and provided good customer service, which made the experience even more pleasant.
The gold prices have stabilized in recent sessions, with SJC gold price listed at 137.5-141.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 7 million VND/tael on the buying side and down 6 million VND/tael on the selling side compared to the previous week.
Closing the weekly trading session, world gold prices were listed at 4,051.7 USD/ounce, down 34.4 USD compared to a week ago.
