Hanoi Residents Buy Gold Despite Rainy Weather
Despite the rainy weather in Hanoi, people continued to buy gold over the weekend. Gold prices have increased, but customers are not deterred, instead opting for plain round gold rings for accumulation purposes.
A customer, Mr. Do Huu Trung, said he bought gold because of a personal need, despite high prices. The buying and selling process was quick, with customers receiving their gold immediately after payment.
Another customer, Ms. Hoang Thi Nga, decided to buy 5 taels of gold rings to accumulate instead of waiting for prices to decrease. She believes that in the current context, it's hard to determine when gold prices will adjust, so buying a part at present is a suitable choice for personal needs.
The surge in demand for gold may be attributed to the difficulty in predicting price fluctuations. Customers are taking advantage of the weekend to buy gold, despite higher prices.
