Libya's Harouge Oil Operations has taken steps to upgrade its metering infrastructure by launching a new advanced technology system at the Amal Field.

The company, in an effort to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy, held an expanded meeting with relevant departments to review final arrangements for implementing the new metering system.

According to Harouge Oil Operations, the new system is designed to measure crude oil flow at the Amal Field as well as quantities received from the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) and Sarir Oil & Gas Operations Company.

The measured volumes will then be dispatched to the Ras Lanuf terminal for export, with the goal of improving reliability in the management of crude oil data and volumes.

Harouge emphasizes that this launch represents a significant leap forward in upgrading its metering systems, reflecting the company's commitment to operational efficiency.
