The harvest season in Ukraine is nearing completion, with farmers having collected over 34.6 million tons of grain and leguminous crops from 7.9 million hectares, representing 61.2% of the projected areas.

According to recent data, wheat accounted for 23.82 million tons, barley contributed 6.24 million tons, peas added up to 779 thousand tons, and rapeseed totaled 3.76 million tons.

The regions of Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kirovohrad led the harvest with a combined total of 32% of the grain harvest, while Odessa, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia were among the top regions in terms of grain harvested during the week.

The pace of exports has dropped sharply, with only 2.952 million tons of grain and leguminous crops being exported as of August 12, compared to last year's figure of 2.818 million tons by the same date.
