HD Hyundai E&F Completes LNG Cogeneration Plant at Daesan Complex
HD Hyundai E&F has completed construction of an LNG cogeneration plant at the Daesan petrochemical complex in Seosan, South Chungcheong. The facility, which cost around $310 million to build, has a generating capacity of 290 megawatts and can produce 321 tons of steam per hour.
The plant relies on a high-efficiency combined-cycle gas turbine system fueled by LNG, allowing it to generate electricity and heat simultaneously. This will supply companies operating within the Daesan complex, including H&L Advanced.
