HD Hyundai Wins $675M Engine Generator Deal with Corban Energy Group
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., a South Korean shipbuilder and engine manufacturer, has secured a significant contract to supply power generation equipment to Corban Energy Group in the United States. The deal is worth 956 billion won (US$675.1 million) and marks HD Hyundai's largest-ever contract for power generation engines.
The company will provide power generation equipment with a combined capacity of 1,000 megawatts to data centers operated by a major US technology company. Corban Energy Group specializes in liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage, transportation, power generation, and data center energy solutions.
