The NASCAR Cup Series season has seen a significant shake-up in its standings following the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where Corey Heim secured his second win of the season.

Although Heim is not points-eligible this season, his victory and the subsequent reordering of the standings have had far-reaching implications. The top five drivers in the updated Chase points standings are now Denny Hamlin with 886 points, followed closely by Tyler Reddick who trails by 84 points.

The Brickyard 400 was the 22nd race of the season, and there are still four races left before the regular season concludes. The NASCAR Cup Series will next make its return to Iowa Speedway for the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol on August 9.
