Henry Hub Prices Fail to Budge Despite US LNG Export Boom
The US has seen a significant surge in liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports this year, but surprisingly, benchmark Henry Hub prices have barely moved.
According to recent data, LNG feed gas production topped 19 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d), with output hovering near record levels. Meanwhile, storage levels remain above the five-year average.
Despite these robust numbers, Henry Hub prices have struggled to break through the $3 barrier, leaving many in the industry puzzled by this disconnect between supply and demand.
