Hindustan Copper Sees 163% PBT Surge, Revenue Up 81%
Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has reported impressive financial results for its first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) surged by a whopping 163% to ₹471.77 crore. This significant increase in PBT is primarily driven by favorable copper prices and the ongoing mine expansion targets.
The PAT also saw a remarkable growth of 163% to ₹352.61 crore. The company's revenue from operations reached ₹936.50 crore, marking an impressive 81% increase over the same period last year.
HCL is making progress in its mine expansion plan, aiming to achieve 12.2 MTPA ore production by 2030. The company is also reopening closed mines in Jharkhand and acquiring new mines in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
