Hindustan Copper Sees Sharp Profit Jump Amid Soaring Copper Demand
Hindustan Copper reported its quarterly results for the period ended June 30, 2026, showing a significant year-on-year jump in profit. The company's net profit stood at Rs. 352.61 crore, more than double the Rs. 134.28 crore reported a year earlier.
The revenue from operations rose to Rs. 936.50 crore from Rs. 516.37 crore, with basic earnings per share for continuing operations coming in at Rs. 3.64, against Rs. 1.39 a year ago.
However, on a sequential basis, the picture is softer, with profit easing from Rs. 444.06 crore in the March quarter and revenue declining from Rs. 1,156.08 crore. Earnings per share slipped from Rs. 4.59 during this period.
