Hindustan Copper Shares Soar on Rebound in Global Copper Prices
Hindustan Copper shares saw significant gains on Monday's market, surging over 7% to an intraday high of ₹568 apiece.
This increase is largely attributed to the rebound in global copper prices, which have been rising due to concerns over supply and inventory levels on the London Metal Exchange.
According to CME Group data, copper futures prices for the September 2026 contract were trading around 1.41% higher at $6.7065 per 25,000 pounds compared to the previous market close.
Hindustan Copper's revenue growth is directly linked to these rising copper prices, as the company benefits from selling its produced goods at elevated rates.
The company's Q1 earnings showed a significant increase in net profit and revenues, with a 162% YoY rise in PAT and an 81% increase in revenue for the April-June quarter.
