Hindustan Copper Stock Drops Amid Global Copper Price Headwinds

Hindustan Copper's stock opened at ₹546.50 on Friday and briefly touched ₹546.70, but has since seen selling pressure, currently trading lower at ₹527.35.

The company recently reported a 163% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹353 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), while revenue from operations climbed 81.4% to ₹936.5 crore.

Global copper prices have fallen, down 0.55% to $6.56 USD per pound on August 14, primarily due to weakened demand from top consumer China.
