Hormuz Bottleneck Keeps LNG Prices Near War-Time Highs
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports through the Strait of Hormuz remain stalled, despite oil flows rebounding. The strait has become a critical chokepoint in global energy markets, and LNG tankers are not following crude carriers through it.
The prices of super-chilled fuel have remained near wartime highs due to this bottleneck. US President Donald Trump can take some comfort from the rebound in oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz, but LNG exports remain a concern.
