Hormuz Closure Enters New Phase Amid US-Iran Talks
Iran's top negotiator and parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced on Tuesday that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the United States meets its terms in an interim agreement. This includes lifting a maritime blockade, oil sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian assets, ending military threats and operations, and more.
Ghalibaf emphasized that internal disputes within Iran would weaken the country and encourage foreign adversaries. He also warned that external forces are seeking to foment unrest by combining it with military operations, assassinations, and separatist activities.
