Hormuz Oil Flows Near Pre-War Levels Amid Iranian Isolation Efforts

US Vice President JD Vance said that oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz are nearly back to pre-war levels, with Iran's control over the strategic waterway 'effectively gone'.

Vance made these comments during a White House briefing on Thursday.

'If you go back three months ago, how much oil and gas was coming out of the strait under Iranian threats? It was virtually nothing. Now, it's almost back to where it was before the conflict even started,' Vance said.

He also stated that China is willing to cooperate with efforts to economically isolate Iran, which is a significant development given its status as the world's largest importer of crude oil and major buyer of Iranian oil.
