Houthi Group Targets Three Saudi Oil Tankers Amid Maritime Ban
Yemen's Houthi group has targeted three Saudi oil tankers in recent days as part of its efforts to enforce a maritime ban on Saudi shipping. According to a source within the group, no Saudi tankers have passed through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait since last Monday.
The source claimed that 16 Saudi ships had been turned back and denied passage. The Houthi group said it targeted two Saudi oil tankers violating its maritime ban in the Red Sea on Thursday, and the Saudi Press Agency confirmed that a Saudi company-owned tanker had been hit and caught fire.
