Houthi Missile Strike Targets Saudi Oil Tanker in Red Sea

The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for striking a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea. According to the Houthis, they targeted the vessel with a ballistic missile off the coast of Yanbu in western Saudi Arabia.

The military spokesman for the Houthi group stated that the missile strike was 'precise and direct', resulting in a large fire on the vessel.

Saudi authorities have not immediately confirmed the incident, but UK maritime authorities reported that a tanker had been struck by an unknown projectile about 63 nautical miles west of Yanbu.
