Houthi Rebels Attack Aramco Facility, Escalating Tensions in Middle East

The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for an attack on an Aramco oil facility in southwestern Saudi Arabia, citing retaliation for Saudi drones breaching Yemen's airspace. According to Yahya Saree, a military spokesperson for the Houthis, the facility was targeted with a drone. The Saudi Energy Ministry reported a fire at the facility without casualties and said it was extinguished.

The attack is part of a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and its shipping in the Red Sea. The Yemeni government also reported that the Houthi rebels fired missiles and drones on the Mocha port, one of the main ports under the internationally recognized government's control.
