Houthi Rebels Launch Drone Strike on Saudi Aramco Refinery in Jizan
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for a drone attack on an oil facility in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea region. The strike targeted Aramco's refinery in Jizan, with a fire breaking out early Sunday morning.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the group had 'succeeded in targeting the Aramco refinery in Jizan with a drone, and the strike was precise.'
The Saudi Energy Ministry confirmed the fire at one of the facilities belonging to the Aramco refinery in Jizan, but did not provide a cause. No injuries were reported.
