Houthi Rebels Strike Aramco Refinery in Saudi Arabia Drone Attack
Yemen's Houthi rebels have launched a drone attack on an oil facility in southwestern Saudi Arabia, targeting the Aramco refinery. According to the Houthis' spokesperson, the facility was struck with a drone.
The attack is part of a series of escalations by the Iran-backed group, which also claimed responsibility for striking a key Red Sea port in the region. The incident comes as tensions between the US and Iran continue to rise, particularly over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Separately, the Pentagon has pushed US defense contractors to accelerate weapons production amid concerns about depleted stockpiles.
