Tensions in the Middle East escalated this week, pushing oil prices to nearly $100 per barrel. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed that Houthi strikes on energy infrastructure resulted in 73 civilian injuries, including women and children.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against continued Houthi attacks, which they believe are backed by Iran. Secretary of State Marco Rubio agreed, stating 'some of this is clearly the Iranian hand.'

Houthi military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree vowed to continue their operations in Saudi Arabia and target its military until the aggression stops.
