Houthis Attack Saudi Oil Installations Amid Pause in US Strikes
The Iran war has spread to new regions, despite a pause in US strikes. Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis attacked Saudi oil installations along the Red Sea coast on Saturday.
According to a statement by the group's military spokesperson, Yahya Sare, the Houthis targeted Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu.
The attacks mark a new escalation of the conflict, which has been ongoing for weeks. The US had previously launched strikes on Iran, but has paused them for the time being.
