Houthis Claim Attack on Saudi Oil Tanker in Red Sea

The Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for an attack on a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea, according to a statement released by the group. The incident occurred near the Bab el-Mandeb strait, a critical maritime corridor that handles an estimated 10% of global trade annually.

The Houthi statement said the attack was carried out using a naval drone boat, but did not provide further details. Saudi Arabian authorities have not yet confirmed the attack, and there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage.
