Houthis Claim Drone Attack on Najran Aramco Facility
The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for a drone attack on an Aramco facility in Najran, Saudi Arabia. According to the group's affiliated Saba news agency, a military source confirmed that the operation was carried out using a drone and successfully hit its intended target.
However, no details were provided about possible casualties or material damage. The Saudi authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the reported incident.
This is not the first time the Houthis have targeted Aramco facilities in Najran. In 2019, two facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais were hit, temporarily halting around half of Saudi Arabia's oil production and sending shockwaves through global energy markets.
