Houthis Claim Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Facilities Amid Tensions

The Houthi group in Yemen claimed responsibility for a drone attack on key oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia, targeting points for crude oil supply and transport. The attack was allegedly in response to repeated violations of Yemeni airspace by Saudi Arabia.

Military spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the group had targeted 'sensitive targets' using drones. However, no details were provided about any possible damage or casualties from the attack.

Saudi authorities have not yet commented on the Houthi claim, while earlier on Monday Saudi Arabia reported its air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones launched from Iraqi territory targeting oil facilities in the kingdom.
